We have had so many fantastic entries for Season Two of Verse Chorus Bridge that we have decided to feature a couple a week.

Lets start with The Takedown.

The Takedown are a four piece Pop Punk Alternative band from Brisbane.

What do you get when you fuse a badass chick, too much ego and pop punk melodies? THE TAKEDOWN.

Spawning from rejects of other tried and parted Brisbane bands, The Takedown exploded onto the scene ready to kick butt and take names. Fronted by former Escaping Vauderville hard vocalist, Danielle, you know there’s no messing around.

The rest of the band is made up of Flicks guitarist and singer Michael Thomas, ex TMGR/Wearing Rosco/Taller then Trees… we could just keep listing, bassist Benson, ex picturesque guitarist Benji and filling in on drums is ex Trigger Theory/Stonemason member, Ian Collins.

With a debut EP set for release in January/Febuary 2012, prepare to strap yourself in and feel the G’s!

You can find The Takedown on Facebook

Verse Chorus Bridge!

Verse Chorus Bridge has finished recording with some great local acts! A TV show like this is needed and would be greatly appreciated by people who love their music. There are not enough Australian shows by music enthusiasts for music enthusiasts. It is also a good promotional tool to help Brisbane bands get their name out there,  plus, gain a different audience then what they would with other forms of promotion. From what I have seen on TV there is no real music show dedicated to the local music scene and Verse Chorus Bridge is exactly that.

To celebrate Verse Chorus Bridge filming being completed there will be a preview screening of the first season. You can join us on Tuesday 6th of December, hang out with the crew, see some awesome sneak peaks and just have an all round awesome night!
